Experienced modelers understand the importance of securing servo and throttle leads, and unplugging a Castle controller from the receiver can disrupt all their meticulous work. To address this issue, many have requested a solution like a Y connector that provides an open lead for easy Castle linking. However, a traditional Y harness doesn't work when the other branch of the Y is connected to a receiver since the signal line must be disconnected.
Castle made Quick Connect, the perfect solution ! It detects the presence of a Castle Link adapter on the free lead and seamlessly switches the controller's signal line from the receiver to the Castle Link, allowing for hassle-free Castle linking without disturbing your meticulously tied down servo and throttle leads.
Quick Connect is recommended for use with the following ESC's :
Surface: Sidewinder v1/2/3/SCT, SW4, Sidewinder Micro, Sidewinder Micro 2, Mamba Micro Pro, Mamba Max, Mamba Max Pro, Mamba Monster, Mamba Monster 2.
Air: Phoenix ICE, Phoenix ICE HV, Thunderbird, Talon 15, 25, 35, 60, 90, Phoenix HV.
Please note:
• If you have a Castle ESC with dual BEC wires (Mamba XL X or Talon HV 120) or require more than 6 amps from the BEC, Quick
Connect Duo is the recommended option.
• Quick Connect and Quick Connect Duo are not compatible with the Field Programming Cards when used as standalone programmers.
They ONLY work when using the Field Programming Card as a Castle Link adapter.
Tech Tip: Quick Connect can also be used in conjunction with the B-Link Bluetooth adapter. Remember to connect in the following order: ESC > Quick Connect > B-Link > Receiver, for seamless integration.
