The 450/470 rc helicopters class ideally allow you to move from flight simulators, drones or fixed-pitch micro models (Blade, etc.) to high-performance collective-pitch radio-controlled helicopters.
Indeed, the T-Rex TB40 remote-controlled helicopter is equipped with an electric motor managed by a regulator controller (ESC).
Volts advantageously replace fuel: less noisy and cleaner than the Nitro thermal engine, the brushless motor is now unanimous in RC modeling for its high performance (power, torque) and the simplicity of its implementation.
A battery charger and a few Lipo batteries will allow you to make several flights and your electric RC helicopter will always remain clean!
Later, you can even equip it with a fuselage to give it a model appearance.

The stability of the tail (rear propeller) of the TB40 is ensured by a gyroscope or by a flybarless system carrying out the necessary mixing.

The all-new TB40 canopy is very light. The design with R reinforcement effectively improves the rigidity and resistance to deformation of this canopy weighing only 58g.
The clean, neat curves of the canopy not only look beautiful, but also enhance the overall slimness of the heli. Dazzling colors enhance machine visibility.

The interior of the frame is cleverly used to hide the wiring within the chassis, so that the appearance is clean and tidy while still having the best protection.

The new landing gear is light and shock resistant thanks to a ribbed structure. Its multi-point attachment effectively improves the stability of the helicopter.

The Quick Battery Release Latch is an original Align design (patented) for simple and easy battery replacement.

separated panels frame design: the upper part, narrower, integrates the mechanics and electronics, while the lower part, wider, is intended to receive the battery mounted on a removable rail. These parts are connected with a high-strength composite material integrated into the chassis sidewall using a proprietary integration technology, which effectively reinforces structural rigidity and allows easy maintenance.
The upper and lower sidewalls are made of 1.6mm 3K carbon fiber plates.

Very compact, the new EFL rotor head with a low center of gravity is made from CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, and is associated with an 8mm feathering shaft, made from high carbon steel. This design significantly lowers the center of gravity and effectively reduces aerodynamic resistance in flight for 3D and sport flying.
The TB40 rotor head generates excellent stability and offers an incomparable control feeling.

New swashplate: improved anchoring design of the cyclic linkages to provide greater reliability and perfect stability to avoid detachment of the linkage rods during extreme flight maneuvers.

The main rotor shaft is held by three bearing blocks which improve the guidance of the blade rotation at high speed.

The TB40 features the 400MX brushless motor: high torque and efficiency, at low temperature. Using 6S voltage as the power base, not only is the average current reduced by 10 amps, but the motor, battery and controller deliver abundant power and excellent low temperature performance. You will particularly feel the abundance of torque in the sequences of 3D figures.
The motor is supported by the Hobbywing Platinum 60A brushless motor controller, (www.helistore.fr text) equipped with a 32-bit high-speed processor. This ESC provides enough power to the transmission to maintain a stable rotational speed, so that every flight action is precise.
Responsiveness to rev shift is adjustable and it can be connected to a multifunction LCD settings box.

New servo layout: Independent servo mounts can be removed more easily, allowing for quick repairs and replacement when needed.
In addition, the rotation point of the horn is close to the main rotor shaft, reducing the lateral movement of the swashplate servo and interactions on the other axes. Setting the swashplate in motion is simpler and more precise, effectively improving the precision and stability of flight control.
